need a custom solution for your team or brand? Our experts are here to help!

USSportWear makes custom bomber jackets in nylon, satin and twill for teams, staff programs, events and clothing brands. For leather bombers, see our custom leather bomber jackets.

The flight bomber with the orange lining

The green-and-orange bomber is the classic flight jacket: an olive or sage nylon shell over a bright orange lining. Pilots could wear it inside-out so rescuers could spot them. We make it in olive, black and navy shells, with the orange inside or a lining color of your choice.

Where the bomber came from

Bombers descend from military flight jackets. Early sheepskin flying jackets, such as the US Navy's M-445A, gave way to lighter nylon jackets like the MA-1 in the 1950s, which is the shape most bombers follow today.

Design your own bomber

  • Shell: nylon, satin, twill or polyester
  • Lining: quilted, light or a printed lining with your artwork
  • Knit trims in team or brand colors
  • Personalized embroidery, patches and back prints
  • Men's, women's, cropped or oversized fits

Wholesale and blank bombers

Bomber jackets are made in bulk for wholesale clothing programs, and blank bombers are available for printers and embroiderers. We produce bulk orders to your design rather than single print-on-demand units.
